Consultations For Multilingual Families

1:1 Consultations To Develop Your Family’s Language Strategy

The more languages you know, the more worlds you belong to.

If you speak two or more languages in your household and your goal is to raise multilingual children, this consultation will help you develop a strategy that matches your family’s needs. There is a lot of misinformation out there about appropriate developmental ranges or how to best structure your home environment to support multilingualism. It’s helpful to have a trusted resource you can turn to no matter where your family is in their journey.

I’m Anna Aresi.

I’m uniquely qualified to help you navigate this beautiful and often misunderstood situation.

I am an educator and translator with an academic background in language acquisition and a Ph.D. from Brown University. I’m also a mother raising three trilingual children.

I bring my 15+ years of teaching experience in higher education and as a private tutor for both children and adults as well as an extensive background studying children’s literature and development to support families like yours.

FAQ

Each family situation is unique and no one method is “perfect” per se. I ask families to fill out a detailed questionnaire so that I can get a good idea of your unique family’s needs and we can devote our 1:1 time addressing your specific situation.
